Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you lose the 2v2 — Caitlyn's range advantage and Vel'Koz's poke outclass your early damage output, and you lack the mobility or durability to trade effectively at this stage.
  • Post-6, your R gives you a long-range tool to poke and potentially finish low targets, but Caitlyn's R and Vel'Koz's sustained damage still make a direct 2v2 fight unfavorable unless Braum lands a clean engage.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to farm safely from max range using your Q, accumulating stacks passively while letting Braum look for an engage opportunity — do not try to trade directly into Caitlyn's range advantage.
  • When Braum does land a stun, immediately follow up with your full combo (Q into E) to maximize burst during the lockdown window.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave consistently to deny Caitlyn her trap-under-tower setup and to force Vel'Koz to use abilities on wave rather than on you — a shoved wave also gives you a safer recall pattern.
  • Avoid letting the wave freeze near their tower, as Caitlyn excels at farming under tower and Vel'Koz can freely poke you during a freeze.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not greedily chase stacks by walking up into Caitlyn's auto-attack range — her headshot passive combined with Vel'Koz's poke will chunk you faster than you expect.
  • Respect the trap zones Caitlyn places and never step on them, as the slow and headshot combo can set up a kill even without Vel'Koz's full rotation.
