Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Aphelios outranges and outdamages you in direct trades, and Xerath's poke makes it nearly impossible to safely stack your passive — this lane is heavily favored for the enemy pre-6.
  • Post-6, your R gives you a window to all-in if you can close the gap, but Xerath's E and Aphelios's range still make it difficult to execute cleanly without Senna's setup.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to let Senna land her Q root first, then activate your Q to close distance invisibly and stack your passive before committing — never engage without a Senna CC lead because Aphelios will simply kite you out and Xerath will peel with E.
  • Once your passive is stacked, a full R burst with Senna's damage can delete either target before they respond.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave consistently to deny Xerath safe poke angles under tower pressure, as a slow or frozen wave gives Xerath free reign to harass you at max range without risk.
  • Avoid letting the wave bounce back to mid-lane where Xerath thrives; instead, look to crash and reset or dive with Senna when you have level and item advantages.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your Q aggressively to engage without Senna's CC already landing — Aphelios and Xerath will simply disengage, burn your invisibility cooldown, and punish you when you reappear with no escape tool.
  • Popping Q reactively to escape is often more valuable than using it offensively in this matchup.
