Pre-6, Ezreal+Senna win most extended trades due to Senna's sustain and Ezreal's Q poke keeping them healthy while you struggle to land your Q against mobile targets; however, if you land a clean Q hook at level 2 before Senna has W up, you and Jhin can burst Ezreal down since he is squishy and has no defensive summoner pre-flash.
Post-6, the lane remains difficult because Senna's R provides global healing and shielding that negates your all-in setup, and Ezreal's R gives him a safe escape tool, so you need to force fights only when Senna's R is on cooldown.

Your best pattern is to W lantern Jhin forward to bait Ezreal into using his E, then immediately Q the now-grounded Ezreal before he can reposition; Jhin's W root on a hooked target creates a guaranteed 4th shot window that is your primary kill condition.
Avoid trading without your Q landing first — your auto-attack range is shorter than Senna's, so walking up without a hook means you eat free poke while dealing nothing meaningful.

You want a slow push into a freeze against this lane because Senna's passive lets her gain stacks on cannon minions, so denying her a frozen wave under your tower reduces her scaling; push when Ezreal is recalled to deny Senna free stack collection.
Do not let the wave bounce back to them freely — Senna becomes a late-game monster and every stack she gets under a freeze accelerates that timeline.

Do not walk up to flay (E) without your Q available — Senna and Ezreal will punish the cooldown window with sustained poke that you cannot answer, and you will burn flash or die.
Also avoid using your lantern (W) purely defensively every time; saving it only for escapes means Jhin never gets the aggressive repositioning tool that makes your all-ins work.
