LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Ezreal win because your range, sustain, and poke output exceed what Thresh+Jhin can match in extended trades; Thresh's Q is your only real threat, and your W root lets you punish him if he misses it.
- Post-6, your R is a game-changer because it denies Thresh and Jhin's all-in by healing and shielding Ezreal at the exact moment they commit, but you must use it proactively when you see Thresh walking up with Q, not reactively after Ezreal is already hooked.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to auto-attack Thresh whenever he walks up to position for a Q, using your range advantage to zone him off his hook angles; when Thresh is low, you can root him with your W to set up an Ezreal Q for a kill, since Thresh has no escape and is often the squishier target.
- Do not try to stack your passive greedily by walking up to hit minions — Thresh will use your stack-farming aggression to predict your position and land his Q.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam pre-6 because your lane identity is sustain and poke dominance, and leaving Ezreal alone against Thresh+Jhin even briefly gives them a free hook-kill opportunity.
- Post-6, your R has global range so you never need to physically roam — use it to assist other lanes from your current position, and only consider a physical roam if the wave is fully pushed and Thresh has already roamed, making the bot lane a 1v1 Ezreal can handle.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not let Thresh stack his passive (souls) freely by standing too far back — his passive gives him armor and ability power that makes him tankier over time, so poking him early when he tries to collect souls is actually a meaningful way to slow his scaling.
- The bigger mistake is using your W root offensively without Ezreal being in position to follow up, because a missed or wasted W means Thresh can walk up and hook you while your only CC is on cooldown.
