Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Draven have a strong early edge: Draven's level 2 power spike combined with your Q hook threat forces Leona to either engage recklessly or play passive, and if Leona commits her E-R combo without landing it cleanly, Draven's damage punishes her hard.
- Post-6, the matchup becomes more volatile — Leona's R gives her a reliable setup that can chain into your own R, but if you land Q first and Draven has axes spinning, you win the extended fight.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to fish for a Q on Leona when she steps forward to E, then immediately W-lantern Draven in or use E to slow their escape — never hook Tristana, as her E resets and she'll just jump away.
- The goal is to force Leona to burn her engage tools on a bad angle so Draven can freely stack his passive and punish.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You want a slow push into a freeze near your tower early, denying Tristana her preferred all-in range and making Leona's engage path longer and more telegraphed.
- Once you have a wave advantage, look to roam with your hook threat rather than shoving — your value is in picks, not wave clear.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not hook Tristana — her E gives her a free escape and resets on kills, meaning a misplayed hook onto her can flip the fight entirely.
- Also avoid using your E offensively to knock enemies away when you need it as a peel tool for Draven, since Leona's all-in is fast and Draven needs that slow to survive the chain CC.
