Who Wins
- Pre-6, Leona's level 2 all-in (E+Q) is the biggest threat to you — if she lands it before you have W, you will lose the trade significantly; however, once you have W at level 2 or 3, you can sustain through her burst and fight back in extended trades.
- Post-6, you can steal Leona's R for a powerful teamfight tool, but Ziggs's R gives him a disengage that limits your dive potential, so you need Blitzcrank to hook Ziggs before you commit.
Synergy & Trading
- Your pattern is to wait for Blitzcrank to hook Leona or Ziggs, then immediately E onto the hooked target and use your full combo (Q-W-E chain) to burst them before they can disengage — do not engage independently without Blitzcrank's setup.
- Against Leona specifically, bait her E by standing at medium range, then E away and punish her cooldowns with W sustain trades.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You have decent wave clear with Q, so match Ziggs's push to deny him free poke angles — a pushed wave forces Leona to stand near tower and reduces her engage threat.
- When you hit 6, look for roam opportunities to mid immediately after Blitzcrank hooks Leona, as Ziggs alone cannot 1v1 Blitzcrank and you can create a numbers advantage elsewhere.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not steal Leona's R and use it aggressively in a 2v2 — Ziggs's W and R can disengage your dive and waste the stolen ability entirely.
- Avoid extended trades with Leona at full health even with W available; her E+Q lockdown combined with Ziggs follow-up will outdamage your sustain if both enemies are healthy.
