LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose the 2v2 — Shen's E taunt interrupts your Q poke pattern and forces you into melee range where Vayne's W true damage and Shen's sustained damage overwhelm your low base stats.
- Post-6, your R engage onto Vayne while Shen's E is on cooldown is a genuine kill threat, but Shen's R countering your engage with a shield and his own taunt follow-up means you need to bait his E before committing your R.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to Q poke Vayne during the laning phase when she steps up for CS, using the passive aura to keep Yunara healthy, and only use your R when Shen has recently used his E — a Shen with E available will taunt you mid-R animation and negate the stun.
- Coordinate with Yunara to W slow Vayne immediately after your R lands so she cannot tumble out of the follow-up damage.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam only with extreme caution — Vayne and Shen are a self-sufficient duo that can 2v1 Yunara if you leave, and Shen's global R means he can counter-roam instantly.
- The best roam timing is after you've pushed the wave to tower and Shen has used his R on another lane, leaving Vayne without peel; mid roams at level 6 with your R available are your highest-value windows.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your R as an initiation tool into Shen's E range — Shen's taunt will interrupt your stun and leave both you and Yunara in a losing fight with no cooldowns.
- Avoid over-relying on your passive healing to sustain through Vayne's W true damage; true damage bypasses your healing efficiency and Shen's poke will drain your mana if you're constantly trying to heal through chip damage.
