Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win the 2v2 — your E taunt negates Yunara's immobility weakness by forcing her into melee range where Vayne's W stacks, and Sona cannot poke freely without risking your taunt punish.
  • Post-6, Yunara's R gives her the dash mobility to reposition after your E, and Sona's R stun can set up kills on Vayne if your E is on cooldown; you need to be more selective about when you engage.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to E taunt Yunara specifically — not Sona — to force her into Vayne's W range while she has no mobility to escape.
  • Use your passive Q empowered auto attacks during the taunt window to maximize your own damage contribution, and save your R for when Vayne is in a losing fight or when you need to counter Sona's R engage.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should roam aggressively with your R — it is one of the best global ultimates in the game and Yunara/Sona have no way to punish your absence instantly.
  • Optimal roam timing is when the wave is pushed to Yunara's tower (she cannot follow without losing CS), and your R is best used to counter-engage on a fed ally rather than to save Vayne from a winnable fight she should handle herself.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your E taunt on Sona — she has low damage and taunting her pulls you away from Yunara, who will then freely activate R and reposition.
  • Avoid using your R reactively to save Vayne from Sona's R stun if Yunara's R is also active; teleporting into a fight where Yunara has full R uptime means you are walking into her strongest window with no way to interrupt it.
