Who Wins
- Pre-6, you do not win the 2v2 straight up — Caitlyn's range and Thresh's hook threat force you to play defensively, and your W shield is your primary survival tool rather than a win condition.
- Post-6, the lane remains difficult because Caitlyn's R is a long-range execute that your W cannot block if she waits for the shield to be down, so you need Bard's R or your own R speed to disengage.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to use W to block Caitlyn's Q or Thresh's E, immediately retaliate with your own Q into auto-attack chain using your passive movement speed to stay in range briefly, then disengage before Thresh can follow up — you win short trades after shield absorption, not extended fights.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave hard with your Q bounce and passive to deny Caitlyn her range advantage by keeping the wave near your tower — a frozen or slow-pushed wave under your tower removes Caitlyn's ability to freely poke you and limits Thresh's hook angles.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your W preemptively on Thresh's E when Caitlyn's Q is also incoming — prioritize blocking Caitlyn's Q since it deals more damage and has a headshot attached, and save the shield for the higher-value ability rather than reacting to the first thing thrown at you.
