Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you do not win the 2v2 — Thresh's hook range and Caitlyn's poke outclass your early damage, and your W shrine sustain is too slow to offset burst trades.
  • Post-6, your R is your primary equalizer, but it is a double-edged tool that can accidentally save Caitlyn's target or freeze Sivir, so you must use it to interrupt Caitlyn's R or create a disengage window rather than as an offensive tool.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best trading pattern is to stack meeps and use Q stun on Caitlyn when she steps up to poke, then let Sivir follow up with Q and autos while Caitlyn is rooted — your damage is meep-dependent, so avoid trading without at least two stacks or you deal negligible damage.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should roam frequently because your chime collection naturally takes you away from lane and your R provides cross-map value — optimal roam timing is after placing a W shrine for Sivir and shoving the wave, ideally at level 6 when your R creates guaranteed kill setups in other lanes.
  • Do not roam when Sivir's W is on cooldown and the wave is pushed toward the enemy, as she will be hooked and killed without your peel.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your R offensively on Sivir to try to set up a kill — it removes her from the fight for too long and leaves you alone against Thresh and Caitlyn, which is a death sentence given your low base stats in a direct 1v2 scenario.
