Who Wins

  • Pre-6: You win trades through superior range and poke with Q, but lose all-ins if Vayne gets on top of Kog'Maw.
  • Post-6: You maintain advantage through R engage potential and better teamfight setup, but must respect Vayne's mobility and damage spikes.

Synergy & Trading

  • Lead with Q poke when enemies are positioned linearly, then follow up with E if they're slowed or grouped.
  • Let Kog'Maw follow your CC with his damage rather than trying to match his sustained DPS windows.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push for level advantages early since you have better waveclear with Q, but transition to freezing once Vayne gets items.
  • Control vision around river bushes to enable safe poke without getting engaged on.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste your E on minions for waveclear when enemies are in range to engage.
  • Your CC is Kog'Maw's only protection against Vayne all-ins, so save it for defensive purposes when necessary.
