Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you and Thresh win this lane: Thresh's hook creates the setup for you to immediately chain abilities and build passive stacks, and Alistar cannot safely engage without eating a hook first.
  • Post-6, Alistar's R neutralizes your all-in potential almost entirely — you cannot kill him during his R, and Sivir's R gives her team peel, so you must kill Sivir before Alistar presses R.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to let Thresh land a hook on Sivir, then immediately dash in with E to chain your Q and W into her, building passive stacks quickly before Alistar can W+Q you off.
  • If Alistar has already used W+Q, you can freely all-in with R since he has no displacement left to interrupt it.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You have no wave clear, so accept that Sivir will push the wave and focus on using the minion wave as cover to walk up for short trades rather than extended fights.
  • Do not overextend trying to fight through a pushed wave — Alistar's engage range is longer than it looks when you're standing in the open.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not activate R when Alistar still has his W+Q available — he will knock you out of your R channel and waste your ultimate entirely.
  • Wait for him to burn both abilities before committing to R, or use it only when he is out of position and cannot reach you in time.
