Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win if you can land Q consistently, as Sona is extremely squishy and Aphelios has no mobility to escape follow-up.
- Post-6 your kill pressure remains high, but you must respect Sona's R which can turn fights and save her ADC from your execution.
Synergy & Trading
- Look for Q angles when enemies are farming or when Sona steps up to poke, immediately following with E-auto-ignite for maximum damage.
- Coordinate with Samira's W timing to ensure your Q isn't blocked, and use your mobility to create multiple engage angles.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam frequently after successful recalls or when your ADC is safely farming, as your R execute potential makes mid/jungle skirmishes extremely powerful.
- Time roams around objective spawns or when you see enemy jungle movements on wards.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't hook when Samira's W is available unless you can bait it out first, as she can completely negate your engage.
- Never use E aggressively when Sona has R up, as she can easily interrupt your combo and turn the fight around.
