LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Nautilus wins the support 1v1 and the 2v2 lane favors Jhin + Nautilus because Nautilus's passive stacks on your hook attempts and Jhin's W is a reliable follow-up root.
- Post-6, you have kill pressure with R, but Nautilus's R knocks up your entire team and interrupts your R execution window if he uses it reactively.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to W into the river brush to flank, then Q hook from an unexpected angle so Nautilus cannot body-block or pre-position his own hook.
- If you hook first and Kai'Sa follows immediately, Jhin is forced to burn his fourth shot defensively rather than offensively, which is the only window where you trade favorably.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roaming is viable and recommended once you hit level 6, because your R provides guaranteed kill gold that accelerates Kai'Sa's item timing.
- Roam mid when the wave is shoved in and Nautilus has just used his E or R, since Jhin cannot punish a 1v2 bot lane effectively without his support.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E aggressively to close distance on Nautilus — he will hook you mid-dash and you will die in the middle of the lane with no escape.
- Your E is a repositioning and escape tool in this matchup, not an engage, because Jhin's fourth shot will execute you if you are caught extended.
