LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win the 2v2 at level 2 if you land your Q slow into W stun on Ezreal before he can E away — this is your strongest spike and the window is narrow.
- Post-6 you lose priority because your R is a global roam tool, not a lane-winning ability, and Vel'Koz's sustained poke combined with Ezreal's mobility makes a straight 2v2 increasingly unfavorable as they scale.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to Q Ezreal to slow him, immediately W stun him, then let Kog'Maw W auto-attack freely while he is stunned — chain this with your E for burst.
- Do not try to all-in Vel'Koz first; Ezreal's E makes him the priority target to lock down, and Vel'Koz will shred you with stacked passive if you ignore Ezreal.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Yes, you should roam: your R makes you one of the best roaming supports in the game, and Kog'Maw's wave clear with W can maintain the wave while you are gone.
- Optimal roam timing is after a successful level 2–3 trade that burns Ezreal's E, or when the wave is shoved into their tower — roam mid with R when your mid laner has setup, as a kill there snowballs the game faster than staying in a lane you do not decisively win.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your W stun randomly on Vel'Koz when Ezreal is alive and mobile — wasting your stun means Ezreal can freely E in and trade or escape, and you have no follow-up CC.
- Avoid standing in Vel'Koz's Q and E skillshots while trying to engage, as taking that poke before your all-in significantly reduces your kill potential.
