LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win level 2 all-ins if your hook lands because Tristana E onto the hooked target creates an immediate kill threat that Braum cannot fully negate — however, Caitlyn's traps punish your walk-up angles and Braum W can block your hook entirely if he anticipates it, so you do not win every engage attempt.
- Post-6, your R into Tristana R is a near-guaranteed kill on Caitlyn unless she has flash, making post-6 the power window you should play toward.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to path through brush or use terrain to reduce Braum's ability to pre-position his W block, then hook Caitlyn specifically rather than Braum — hooking Braum is wasted because he will simply W to protect Caitlyn anyway.
- After the hook lands, auto-attack to proc your passive root, then let Tristana E in to maximize the CC chain duration.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam pre-6 because Tristana is vulnerable to Caitlyn poke without your presence and losing tower plates or an early death sets Tristana behind on a scaling champion.
- At level 6, if you have priority and Tristana is safe, a roam to mid with your R is high-value because your CC chain is strong enough to guarantee kills on most mid laners.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not hook into Braum's W — if Braum is standing between you and Caitlyn, your hook will be blocked and you waste your primary engage tool on a 14-second cooldown.
- Always look for angles where Caitlyn is separated from Braum, such as when she steps up to last-hit or when Braum is repositioning after a ward.
