LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose most extended trades because Tristana's E reset threat and Nautilus's hook-chain CC outweigh your passive stacks in sustained fights — however, if you land a Q on Tristana or Nautilus at level 2, you can burst passive stacks quickly with Caitlyn's headshots and win a short trade.
- Post-6, your R gives you a fight-winning tool, but Nautilus R into Tristana R creates a longer CC chain that likely kills Caitlyn before your ult resolves unless you land it first.
Synergy & Trading
- Your job is to Q the target Caitlyn is already auto-attacking to stack passive, then body-block Nautilus hooks with W — never initiate a trade without Caitlyn already in range, because your damage alone is negligible and you become a liability.
- Avoid standing in a line with Caitlyn so Nautilus cannot hook-chain both of you simultaneously.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam early because Caitlyn needs peel against Nautilus's engage, and leaving her alone against a hook-chain support is a death sentence.
- If you have a significant wave lead and Caitlyn is safe under tower with a frozen wave, a level 6 roam to mid is acceptable but only after confirming Nautilus's position.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use W reactively after Nautilus has already landed his hook — by that point the CC chain has started and your shield is wasted.
- You must anticipate the hook trajectory and pre-position W to intercept it before it connects with Caitlyn.
