Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you lose extended trades because Lux's E slows your approach and Ashe's W kites you indefinitely before you can land Q — you need to bait out Lux's E before engaging or you'll be peeled off Ashe immediately.
  • Post-6, your R gives you a reliable engage tool that Ashe cannot dodge with movement alone, and pairing it with Tristana's R knockback creates a kill window even through Lux's shield.

Synergy & Trading

  • Hook Lux first, not Ashe — Lux is the peel threat, and removing her CC chain lets Tristana freely dive Ashe without being rooted mid-jump.
  • Once Lux's E and Q are burned, chain your passive stacks onto Ashe and let Tristana's E stacks finish the trade.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You have no meaningful wave control, so focus entirely on vision control and positioning to enable Tristana's freeze or slow-push — don't waste time auto-attacking minions when you should be threatening bush control.
  • Let Tristana dictate the wave state; your job is to make the lane unsafe for Ashe and Lux to walk up freely.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not Q into Ashe when Lux still has her E available — you will be rooted mid-dash, lose your engage, and be kited to death with no escape.
  • Patience is mandatory: wait for Lux to waste her E on a minion or a bad poke attempt before committing to any all-in.
