Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win the lane because your W outranges Tristana at early levels and Lux's E completely shuts down Nautilus's engage pattern — you can poke freely while Lux denies any hook attempt.
  • Post-6, the lane becomes dangerous because Nautilus's R into Tristana's R is a two-knockup chain that your team has no mobility to escape, so you must respect their all-in threat and play further back.

Synergy & Trading

  • Maintain max range and use W to whittle Tristana down before she reaches her power spike — Tristana's early range is shorter than yours, and consistent W poke forces her to back or play passive.
  • When Nautilus attempts Q, immediately use R if available or reposition behind Lux to force him to overextend and be punished by Lux's E.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Slow-push into a freeze when possible to keep Tristana under tower and deny her W stacks — a frozen wave near your tower makes Nautilus's engage suicidal and lets Lux freely poke.
  • Avoid hard-pushing because crashing the wave gives Tristana a free reset and removes your positional advantage.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not stand in a straight line with Lux — Nautilus's Q into Lux followed by your root means both of you are CC'd simultaneously, which is an instant kill setup for Tristana.
  • Always position offset from Lux so a single Nautilus Q cannot chain into a kill on both of you.
