LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win because your E covers the entire engage path Nautilus needs to take, and landing E before he lands Q effectively neutralizes his entire kit — Ashe can then freely poke Tristana who has no safe way to respond.
- Post-6, Nautilus's R bypasses your E timing window since it's a targeted ability, so you must pre-emptively E the area where Tristana will land rather than reacting after the engage starts.
Synergy & Trading
- Use E to zone Nautilus away from Ashe rather than using it purely for damage — a well-placed E in the brush or between Nautilus and Ashe forces him to either walk through the slow field or take a long path, buying Ashe time to kite.
- When Nautilus does get close, Q him immediately to peel Ashe rather than trying to Q Tristana who is more mobile.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam at level 6 when the wave is crashed and Ashe can safely hold — your R has significant kill pressure on mid lane and your Q root sets up ganks effectively.
- Do not roam when Nautilus has R available and Ashe is alone, as Tristana and Nautilus will immediately all-in Ashe the moment you leave.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not waste E on Tristana when she uses W to push — saving E for Nautilus's engage is far more valuable than the poke damage on Tristana.
- Burning your E on minion waves or low-value poke leaves Ashe completely exposed to Nautilus's Q, which is the primary way this lane loses.
