Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win the 2v2 at level 1 and 2 because your passive root on every auto-attack combined with Q engage is more reliable than Thresh's hook-dependent setup — you can force early skirmishes that Miss Fortune cannot escape.
- Post-6, the matchup becomes dangerous because Miss Fortune's R counters your tendency to stack on top of Kai'Sa, so you must engage and immediately separate from Kai'Sa.
Synergy & Trading
- Engage with Q onto Miss Fortune directly rather than Thresh — Miss Fortune is the primary damage threat and has no mobility, making her the correct target every time.
- After landing Q, chain your passive root and E slow to keep her locked while Kai'Sa stacks Q and follows with W, then use R to interrupt any Miss Fortune R cast.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam post-6 if the wave is pushed toward the enemy tower and Kai'Sa can safely farm — your R is a strong gank tool in mid lane and your absence forces Thresh to play passively to protect Miss Fortune.
