Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Ashe's slows and Thresh's E zone make it very difficult for you to land your Q without eating significant poke — you lose most extended trades early unless you can force a short all-in at level 2 with your E root.
  • Post-6, your R into Q combo gives you a reliable engage chain that Ashe and Thresh struggle to escape, making you the stronger 2v2 threat if you can close the gap.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to absorb Thresh's lantern-side positioning, then Q onto Ashe (the squishier, less mobile target) and immediately E to root her while Jinx follows up with her W slow — never waste your engage on Thresh who has more tools to survive it.
  • Chain your passive auto-attacks between abilities to maximize shield shred and keep the trade going.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You have no meaningful wave control tools, so let Jinx manage the wave and focus entirely on vision control, bush pressure, and threatening engage angles to force Thresh into reactive positioning rather than proactive hooks.
  • Avoid pushing the wave yourself as it removes your ability to threaten all-ins from river-side bushes.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your Q as a gap-closer into a losing position — if Thresh has his E up and Ashe has her W active, your Q will be dodged or you'll land in a slowed, caged state with no follow-up.
  • Burning your Q defensively or into a bad angle is the single biggest mistake that removes your entire threat pattern.
