Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win this lane — your level 2 Q hook into E root is one of the most punishing all-ins in the game, and Seraphine and Heimerdinger both have low mobility to escape it; however, Heimerdinger's E can stun you mid-engage if you walk into it carelessly.
  • Post-6, Seraphine R is a serious threat to your engage because it can charm you mid-hook animation or chain CC your entire team, so you must look to hook before she can react.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to walk up as if to hook, bait Seraphine into using her E shield early, then back off and re-engage 4–5 seconds later when her E is on cooldown — once her E is gone, your full Q-W-E chain into Ezreal follow-up is nearly a guaranteed kill.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should roam — yes.
  • After a successful level 2 or level 3 all-in that burns Seraphine and Heimerdinger's summoners or kills one of them, back, buy, and look to roam mid at level 6 because your R is one of the strongest roam tools in the game and Seraphine's wave push will have shoved the wave, giving you a roam window.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not hook into Heimerdinger's turret cluster without Ezreal being in position to follow up — you will take heavy turret damage, Seraphine will E-shield herself and Heimerdinger, and you will come out of the trade heavily losing with no kill to show for it.
