LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win most extended trades if you can land your E passive (double-up bounce) on Alistar when he's near a minion, but Alistar's level 2 all-in with Jhin's W root is a genuine kill threat that can flip the lane instantly.
- Post-6, your R is a teamfight-oriented tool that Alistar hard-counters by walking into you and knocking you up mid-channel, so you only win post-6 if Pyke has already hooked Alistar out of position.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to poke with Q bounces off minions onto Alistar or Jhin from max range, then commit to a full trade only when Pyke has landed a hook and Alistar's W and Q are both burned.
- Never initiate a trade yourself — you are the follow-up damage dealer in this duo, not the engage.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave consistently to deny Jhin his preferred poke range and to force Alistar to choose between engaging or losing CS; a pushed wave also gives Pyke better roam windows after a successful hook kill.
- Avoid slow-pushing into a freeze because Alistar can dive you under tower with Jhin's setup at level 6.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not channel your R when Alistar is alive and within dash range — his Q or W will interrupt it and likely result in your death.
- Respect Jhin's W root as a setup for Alistar's all-in; if you are rooted, flash or accept the trade rather than standing still hoping Alistar misses.
