Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you lose the sustained poke war against Caitlyn's range advantage, and Lulu's W polymorph shuts down your E slow setup, making extended trades dangerous — avoid prolonged exchanges.
  • Post-6, your R is a game-winning tool if Nautilus lands his chain and Lulu cannot reposition Caitlyn out of the cone in time.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to let Nautilus initiate with Q, immediately use E to slow the target in place, then auto-attack to stack your passive and funnel damage — your R should be cast only when both enemies are rooted or slowed and cannot walk out of the cone.
  • Do not use R preemptively hoping they walk into it, as Lulu's W will break the setup.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave with Nautilus to deny Caitlyn her poke-safe positioning and force her to CS under tower — a shoved wave also sets up Nautilus roam potential and reduces the time you spend exposed to Caitlyn's Q traps.
  • Avoid slow-pushing alone since Caitlyn outranges you and will freely harass you during the process.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not stand still to auto-attack when Lulu has her Q available — her Q poke combined with Caitlyn's passive headshot will chunk you significantly if you commit to extended auto trades without Nautilus engaging first.
  • Respect their poke range and only commit to trades when Nautilus has already locked someone down.
