Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win the 2v2 if Karma lands her E on you and you can freely stack your passive — your Q poke through minions and W movement speed make you slippery and punishing, but Sylas's level 3 all-in with his Q chain and E dash can burst you before you disengage.
  • Post-6, your R is a game-winning tool in this lane if Karma roots Jinx or Sylas first, but Sylas can steal your R and use it back on you, which completely flips the post-6 dynamic.

Synergy & Trading

  • Let Karma land her E root on either enemy, then immediately Q the rooted target to bounce onto the second, and follow with auto-attacks empowered by your W passive; never commit to extended trades without Karma's E up because Sylas will out-sustain you with his Q healing.
  • Avoid standing in a straight line with your own minions, as Sylas's Q chain hits multiple targets and will chunk you for free.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave early with Karma's help to force Jinx under tower, denying her preferred long-range poke setup with her Q; a shoved wave also limits Sylas's roam windows and keeps him accountable in lane.
  • Avoid slow-pushing into a freeze near their tower, as Jinx outranges you significantly when you're forced to walk up to last-hit.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Never channel your R without a guaranteed root or knockup from Karma first — Sylas or Jinx can simply walk out of it and you waste your entire cooldown.
  • Also, do not use your Q aggressively when your passive movement speed is down, as you lose your escape tool and become an easy target for Sylas's all-in.
