Who Wins

Pre-6, Kalista + Leona win the 2v2 — your E and Q are strong poke tools but Leona's level 2 engage is faster than your ability to react, and if she lands E+Q on you specifically, you have no mobility to escape and will die or burn flash.
Post-6, your R gives you a long-range finisher that can punish Leona's R engage if she overextends, shifting the dynamic slightly in your favor if you play reactively.

Your best trading pattern is to pre-place your E on the wave or on Kalista to force them to respect it, then follow up with Q if Leona steps forward to engage.
If Leona does engage on Zeri, immediately Q+E+R the locked target — your burst on an immobilized target is your primary damage contribution.

You should roam — yes.
Optimal timings are after you hit level 6 and have your R, especially when the wave is pushed to their tower and Zeri can safely farm.
Mid lane roams with R are high-value because your Q+E+R combo can one-shot or severely damage a squishy mid laner who is overextended.

Do not use your W reactively as a panic shield on yourself when Leona engages — it has a delay and will not save you if you are already in her combo.
Position behind Zeri at all times so Leona cannot reach you without first going through your ADC.
