Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Jhin + Braum win most extended trades: Braum's passive stacks punish your short-range Q poke, and Jhin's W root gives Braum easy E setups.
  • Post-6, you gain significant kill threat with your R gap-close onto a Braum-passive-stacked target, but only if Thresh has landed a hook first to force Braum's E away.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best trading pattern is to use W to poke from max range, then only commit to an all-in when Braum's E is on cooldown — Braum's E blocks your Q missiles and negates your burst window entirely if he times it correctly.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave consistently with Q to deny Jhin his preferred spacing; Jhin wants a slow, spread wave to land W roots and fourth-shot crits, so a fast-pushing wave forces him into uncomfortable angles under tower pressure.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not walk up to trade without knowing where Braum's E is — his E into passive stack into Jhin W root is a full kill combo at level 3+, and your lack of a reliable escape pre-R makes you extremely vulnerable to that sequence.
