LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose the 2v2 clearly; Caitlyn's range and Lux's root mean you cannot safely walk up to farm or trade without risking a lethal combo, and your E dash does not make you untouchable since Lux's E is wide enough to catch you mid-dash.
- Post-6, you still lose a straight 2v2 but gain kill threat if Tahm Kench lands his Q first, allowing you to R onto the rooted target and burst before Caitlyn can reposition.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to never initiate; instead, wait for Tahm Kench to land his Q tongue lash on Caitlyn or Lux, then immediately R in and dump your full combo before using E to exit.
- Attempting to trade without Tahm's CC landing first means you absorb Caitlyn's headshot and Lux's root with no escape, which is a losing exchange at almost every point in the game.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You want to play for a slow push or freeze near your side of the lane to deny Caitlyn her range advantage and force her into a tighter space where Tahm Kench's CC is more reliable.
- Avoid letting Caitlyn shove freely, as a pushed wave under your tower removes your ability to farm safely and gives Lux free roam timings.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E dash aggressively to try to dodge Lux's E, because if you mistime it you will dash into the detonation zone or into Caitlyn's trap, resulting in a headshot proc on a rooted target.
- Your E is your only escape tool in this lane; treat it as a defensive resource, not an engage.
