Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you are losing the poke war: Ashe outranges your rockets slightly and her Q stacks give her consistent slowing auto attacks, while Milio's healing offsets any chip damage you deal.
  • Post-6, the lane flips — Nautilus R into your W slow creates a kill window that Ashe and Milio cannot reliably escape, and your R gives you a global threat that changes the game state.

Synergy & Trading

  • Let Nautilus initiate every trade — your job is to immediately drop W on Ashe the moment she's hooked or rooted, then switch to rockets to maximize damage during the lockdown window.
  • Do not auto-attack into Ashe before Nautilus engages, as her slowing autos will kite you and Milio's healing will negate your damage.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave consistently with rockets to deny Ashe passive Q stacking and force her into a reactive position — a pushed wave also means Nautilus can roam or set up a dive without you being in a vulnerable freeze.
  • Avoid letting the wave bounce back to your side, as Ashe is far more dangerous when she can freely walk up and poke with empowered autos.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not stand at max rocket range thinking you are safe — Ashe's R is a global stun that can set up a gank or a Milio-buffed all-in, and you have no mobility to escape once you're hit.
  • Respect the threat of Ashe R plus jungler and keep vision control to avoid being caught out of position.
