LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Varus outranges you with Q poke and his E slow can set up Milio heals to sustain through your damage; you do not win extended poke wars.
- Post-6, Nautilus R into your W root creates a kill chain that Varus and Milio cannot reliably escape unless Milio R is up, giving you a clear advantage in all-ins.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to stay back and let Nautilus initiate, then immediately land W on the rooted target to extend CC duration, and use your fourth shot to execute the low-health target.
- Do not try to trade independently against Varus's Q poke — your low attack speed and lack of self-peel make you vulnerable if Nautilus is on cooldown.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave consistently to deny Varus free Q charges under tower and to create roam opportunities for Nautilus; a fast-pushed wave also lets you safely back without losing too much CS.
- Avoid freezing, as a frozen wave near their tower lets Varus poke you freely at his preferred range.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not position aggressively enough for Varus's E to slow you into a Milio-buffed Varus Q — being caught in that combo without Nautilus nearby is often a death.
- Always track Milio's R cooldown before committing to any extended trade or all-in.
