LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Varus win the lane because your E shield absorbs Ashe's W poke and your Q interrupts Seraphine's E cast before she can root Varus, giving Varus free poke windows.
- Post-6, Ashe's R is your primary threat — if it lands on Varus, your R can save him but you must be close enough to react, and Seraphine's R can chain into Ashe's R to overwhelm your disengage.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to pre-emptively shield Varus with E before Ashe commits to a W trade, then use your W slow to kite Ashe backward while Varus stacks his passive and fires a charged Q.
- Do not use your Q offensively to poke — save it strictly to interrupt Seraphine's E or to peel Varus from Ashe's R.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam in this matchup because Ashe's R can catch Varus alone from anywhere on the map, and leaving him without your peel is a free kill for the enemy.
- Stay in lane, maintain vision of Ashe's positioning, and only consider a roam if Varus has a massive CS lead and both enemies are low or recalled.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your R offensively to try to push Ashe and Seraphine away for a kill setup — your R is your only answer to Ashe's R landing on Varus, and burning it proactively leaves him completely exposed to a death combo.
- Reactive R usage is mandatory in this matchup.
