Who Wins
- Caitlyn wins pre-6 due to superior range and Nautilus's hook threat forcing you into defensive positioning.
- Post-6 you gain kill pressure with your R execute potential, but Caitlyn still controls the lane through superior range and wave management.
Synergy & Trading
- Use Q poke when Nautilus is out of hook range, then immediately back off to avoid retaliation.
- Coordinate with Seraphine's E slow to land guaranteed Q hits and follow up with W-auto for burst trades.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Focus on freezing near your tower to deny Caitlyn's range advantage and force overextensions.
- Only push when you have clear vision and can safely recall, as Caitlyn excels at punishing bad recalls with tower damage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never E forward aggressively without flash up, as Nautilus hook into Caitlyn follow-up is lethal.
- Don't waste mana on Q poke when the wave is pushing toward them, as you'll need it for last-hitting under tower.
