Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Leona do not win the 2v2 cleanly — Shen's W negates Leona's burst window and Samira outscales your poke if she gets in range, so you need to play for Q poke rather than all-ins.
- Post-6, you still do not win a straight 2v2 because Samira's R is a hard counter to grouped fights and Shen's R negates your burst timing, so play for picks when Shen is roaming.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to Q poke Samira from max range whenever she steps up, and only commit to a trade when Leona has already landed her E-Q stun so Shen's W cannot fully protect Samira.
- Never auto-attack into melee range to proc your passive — Samira will punish you instantly and your positioning advantage disappears.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave consistently with your Q to deny Samira passive stacks from minion autos and keep the lane in a state where Shen cannot freely roam without losing tower pressure.
- Avoid letting the wave freeze near your tower, as it removes your safe Q poke range and forces you into Samira's preferred close-range fight zone.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E aggressively toward the enemy when Shen's E is available, as he can taunt you mid-dash and set up a free Samira combo that you cannot escape.
- Avoid burning your E defensively too early in a trade, because without it you have no escape if Leona's engage fails and Samira dashes onto you.
