LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win this lane clearly — your level 1 damage with spinning axes is the highest in the bot lane, and Bard has no reliable level 1 peel.
- At level 2, if you take E, you can all-in immediately with Vel'Koz's poke setting up the kill.
- Post-6, you maintain kill pressure but must respect Bard's R, which can remove you from a fight at a critical moment.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to force extended trades where your spinning axes stack damage over multiple autos — Aphelios cannot sustain that output with most of his weapons.
- Use your E to close distance on Aphelios when he tries to disengage, and let Vel'Koz's poke force him low before you commit.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave hard early to deny Bard chime collection — Bard's passive is a significant power source, and forcing him to choose between chimes and lane presence weakens both enemies.
- A fast-pushed wave also reduces the window Bard has to roam safely.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not drop your axes in reckless positions — Bard's Q stun is specifically dangerous when you are committed to an axe catch, and Aphelios's Gravitum root can chain off it.
- Prioritize axe collection only when both enemies are at a safe distance or on cooldown.
