LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you have the highest burst damage in this lane and can win short trades at level 2 if Thresh lands his Q, but Caitlyn's range and Soraka's healing mean you lose any extended trade where you are not actively killing someone.
- Post-6, your R gives you a global execute threat, but Soraka's R directly counters your kill pressure — you must coordinate with Thresh to burst faster than Soraka can react.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to catch your axes in aggressive positions to maintain your passive stacks, then look for a Thresh Q to follow up with a full combo before Soraka can land two or three heals — your damage window is short and front-loaded.
- Do not look for extended fights; your goal is to deal enough damage in two to three seconds that Soraka's healing cannot undo it.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave hard with your axes to deny Caitlyn her trap-under-tower setup and force her to last-hit under pressure — Caitlyn is significantly weaker when she cannot freely place traps in the wave.
- Avoid letting the wave freeze near Caitlyn's tower, as she will poke you for free while you walk up to CS and Soraka will sustain her through any retaliation.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not chase axes into Caitlyn's trap zones — she deliberately places traps where she predicts you will move to catch axes, and getting rooted gives her a free headshot and Soraka a free heal.
- Dropping axes is a DPS loss, but getting rooted in a bad position is a potential death, so learn to sacrifice axes when the positioning is dangerous.
