Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you have a range advantage over Draven and can poke him freely, but Thresh's Q threat means you cannot stand still to auto-attack — you win the poke war only if you respect his hook range.
  • Post-6, you win the 2v2 if you can avoid Thresh's R setup, as your R outranges theirs and Soraka's healing sustains through Draven's burst if fights go long enough.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to place traps in Draven's likely axe-catching positions to force him to either drop axes or take a root, then follow up with your Q through the trapped target for a headshot proc.
  • Use your E defensively when Thresh walks up to hook — knocking him back resets his engage and wastes his cooldown, giving you a free poke window.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Use your traps to control the wave and deny Draven safe axe-catching positions near the minions — this forces him to either lose passive stacks or take risks.
  • Push the wave into their tower when Thresh is out of position to roam, as Draven without Thresh is significantly less threatening and you can deny him CS under tower pressure.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not stand in a straight line with Draven when Thresh has his Q available — Thresh will hook you or Draven and chain into a kill, and Soraka cannot heal fast enough if you take a full Draven combo.
  • Avoid using your E aggressively to poke Thresh, as it puts you on a long cooldown and removes your escape tool precisely when Thresh wants to all-in.
