LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose the 2v2 — your level 3 Q+W+E combo deals damage but Zed's level 3 W+E+Q burst combined with Lulu's shield and slow means you cannot sustain through their combined output.
- Post-6, you have a strong all-in window if Zed uses his R on Caitlyn, because you can R onto Zed while he is committed and Caitlyn can follow up, but Lulu's R remains a hard counter to your burst.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to use Q to proc your passive shield, then look for a W+R all-in only when Zed has committed his shadow or used his R — do not engage into a full-resource Zed with Lulu nearby because Lulu's W blind and R knockup will completely negate your burst window.
- Short trades with Q poke are acceptable to stack pressure, but your kill threat only materializes when Zed is isolated or has burned cooldowns.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam, and the optimal timing is after a successful shove at level 6 — your R gives you a strong gank setup on mid or a dive threat on top, and Zed will be forced to either follow or lose map pressure.
- Do not roam if Zed has his R available and Caitlyn is low, because Zed will immediately punish the 1v1 or 2v1 situation you leave behind.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your R as an initiation tool into a full-health Zed with Lulu present — Lulu's R will knock you up mid-combo and Zed will simply walk away with his W shadow.
- Your R is a follow-up ability in this matchup, not an opener, and mistiming it is the primary reason Diana loses this lane.
