Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win the 2v2 due to superior range (650 vs 550) and Zilean's slows enabling headshot procs on Miss Fortune, who has no reliable escape and takes full trades poorly when kited.
  • Post-6, your advantage grows further because your R gives you a reliable kill threat that Nami's R cannot fully negate if Zilean has already used W on Miss Fortune, and Miss Fortune's R is easily interrupted by Zilean's W.

Synergy & Trading

  • Let Zilean slow Miss Fortune with Q+W combo, then immediately step forward to land a headshot or E trap on her landing position — this forces her to either take the full trade or burn Flash.
  • Avoid extended all-ins without Zilean's E on you, as Nami's W sustain can keep Miss Fortune healthy enough to outlast short trades.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave hard early using Q to poke under their tower, forcing Miss Fortune to take tower damage or miss CS — she has no safe waveclear tool.
  • Once you have a lead, freeze near your tower to deny her CS while staying out of Nami's E+W range, as she cannot safely walk up to contest.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not stand in predictable positions that let Miss Fortune's Q bounce onto you from a minion, as the passive-empowered Q bounce deals significant damage and she will look to proc it whenever you step up to CS.
  • Avoid using E aggressively without Zilean's slow ready, because a missed trap in this matchup wastes your primary setup tool.
