LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win the 2v2 due to superior range and your ability to punish Tristana and Alistar whenever they step up to CS or engage — your E trap placement under minions denies Alistar's W-Q combo by forcing him to walk through zones.
- Post-6, your R gives you a kill threat that Tristana's R cannot match in terms of raw execution range, but Alistar's R negates your burst window, so you only win post-6 if Alistar has already burned his R or is out of position.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to place E traps at chokepoints before Alistar can close the gap, then auto-Q-auto from max range to stack headshots on Tristana, who has shorter range early and must walk up to CS.
- Never commit to a full trade if Alistar has W available — poke, reset, and re-engage only when he has used W aggressively on a minion or Thresh has a hook angle.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You want to slow-push the wave early to build a large minion wave that crashes into their tower, forcing Tristana to either take tower damage or use her E to reset the wave — this denies her passive stacks and keeps Alistar from having a safe engage window in a frozen state.
- Avoid freezing near your own tower because Alistar can dive you at level 6 with Thresh's R providing additional lockdown, making your tower an unsafe refuge.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand in predictable positions that let Alistar flash-W-Q you into Tristana's burst — Alistar's engage is telegraphed but devastating if you are already in a trap zone.
- Respect Tristana's level 2 all-in potential if Alistar lands a W-Q first, because her E reset on a kill can snowball the lane before you stabilize.
