Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win the 2v2 clearly — your range advantage lets you poke Yunara freely, and Nautilus hook into your headshot is a reliable kill setup since Yunara has no dash pre-R to escape.
  • Post-6, Yunara's R gives her a dash and sustained DPS that threatens to outscale you in extended fights, so you must avoid letting fights drag on and instead look to burst her before R's window does damage.

Synergy & Trading

  • Use Nautilus hook to root Yunara, immediately place a trap under her, and land your Q for maximum headshot damage — this three-part combo is your highest-damage pattern and Yunara has no answer to it pre-6.
  • In extended trades, step back and use your range to auto-attack while Nautilus peels, never standing still long enough for Yunara's Q splash to hit multiple autos on you.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave hard early to deny Yunara CS under pressure, as she needs items to scale and falling behind in gold delays her R power spike significantly.
  • Once you have a lead, look to freeze near your side of the lane to bait Nautilus dives — your trap placement under the freeze zone punishes any aggressive repositioning by Yunara or Zilean.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not overextend for poke after Yunara hits 6 — her E dash during R makes her far more slippery, and walking up to poke her while she has R active risks her closing the gap and winning the extended trade you were trying to avoid.
  • Respect the 15-second R window and play defensively until it expires before re-engaging.
