LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win this lane convincingly because your 650 range versus Aphelios's shorter effective range lets you poke freely, and Nautilus's hook into your headshot-trap combo deals enormous damage before they can respond.
- Post-6, you maintain the advantage as long as you respect Thresh's Q and avoid walking into his R box, since a caught Caitlyn with no escape is a dead Caitlyn.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to place a trap at the expected landing spot of Nautilus's Q target, then auto-attack with the headshot proc the moment they are rooted — this two-shot burst is your primary kill condition and it bypasses Aphelios's weapon cycling entirely.
- Follow up with your Q through them to maximize damage and push them off the wave.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You want to slow-push the wave to build a large minion wave, then crash it and either rotate or set up a deep trap grid that forces Aphelios to choose between farming under threat or backing.
- Avoid hard freezing because Thresh can use that static situation to look for hooks at close range where your range advantage is less impactful.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E aggressively into Thresh's Q range — if he hooks you while your E is on cooldown, Nautilus will chain CC you and you will die with no escape tool available.
- Always track Thresh's Q cooldown before repositioning forward.
