LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you do not win this lane cleanly: Tahm Kench W directly counters your Q by swallowing the grabbed target, and Ziggs W slow makes it hard to follow up even on successful hooks.
- Post-6, your R silence can briefly interrupt Tahm Kench's ability to W-save, creating a narrow window for Xayah to deal damage, but Ziggs R zone control still makes all-in attempts risky.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to use your E passive to proc a quick auto-attack on Tahm Kench when he steps up, then immediately threaten Q to force him to back off rather than committing to a full hook that he can simply W-cancel.
- Save your Q for moments when Ziggs is repositioning or casting an ability, as he is more vulnerable and cannot be swallowed mid-hook.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam when the wave is pushed into the enemy tower and Ziggs has used his R or is low on mana, typically after a successful level 6 all-in attempt that burns summoners.
- Mid lane roams are high value because your Q hook on an immobile mid laner can generate kills, and Xayah can hold the wave alone with her Q clear.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not blindly throw Q into Tahm Kench's face when he has W available, as a swallowed ally negates your entire combo and leaves you and Xayah in a 2v1 disadvantage for several seconds.
- Burning your Q on a bad target also removes your primary threat for 20+ seconds, during which Ziggs can freely poke Xayah down without fear of retaliation.
