Who Wins
- Pre-6, you have the single highest kill-threat ability in the lane with your Q hook, but Shen's W can block it cleanly if he anticipates it — you need to bait out his W before committing to a hook.
- Post-6, Shen's R completely neutralizes your all-in potential by shielding Miss Fortune and potentially taunting you during your combo, making post-6 all-ins significantly riskier.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to hook Miss Fortune specifically — not Shen — because Shen's W will block hooks on himself and his E taunt punishes you hard if you miss.
- After a successful hook on Miss Fortune, immediately use your R silence to prevent her from using any abilities, then let Smolder follow up with sustained damage.
Wave Control/Roaming
