Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you have a real window at level 1 and 2 to zone LeBlanc with Q-plant poke since she has no dash yet at level 1, and at level 2 her W dash is short enough that pre-placed seeds can still punish her landing zone.
  • However, once she has Q and W at level 2, she can burst you for a significant chunk before your plants respond, so respect her all-in threat.
  • Post-6, you lose the 1v1 cleanly — her R-enhanced burst kills you faster than your plants can deal damage back, and you have no mobility to avoid her combo.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is to pre-place seeds in the path you expect LeBlanc to dash through, then use E to root her in the plant zone and follow with Q to activate plants for maximum damage.
  • Force her to W into a position where your plants are already active rather than reacting after she engages.
  • If she W-dashes in without plants ready, disengage with E to keep her tethered and buy time for plants to spawn rather than standing and fighting.

Wave Control

  • Control the wave by using Q to poke LeBlanc while simultaneously pushing with plant activations, keeping the wave slightly on her side to threaten her with plant zones near her tower.
  • Avoid letting her shove you in freely — a frozen wave near her tower removes your ability to set up plant zones safely and lets her roam.
  • Use the wave as bait: if she steps up to CS under pressure, punish with E-Q plant combo.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use E offensively as your opener without plants already placed — the 1.5-second root delay gives LeBlanc time to W back to safety before the root lands, wasting your main lockdown tool.
  • Avoid standing still after landing E on her, as she will Q you to detonate the sigil and then W out before you can capitalize on the tether.
