Who Wins

  • You lose pre-6 trades due to Zoe's range advantage and E setup potential, but can punish her if she wastes abilities on minions.
  • Post-6 you win decisively as R allows you to dodge her E and get on top of her for a guaranteed kill combo.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is W-E-Q when she steps up for CS or wastes E, then immediately W back to avoid her return damage.
  • Save your full R-W-E-Q combo for when her E is on cooldown or you can guarantee the kill.

Wave Control

  • Allow Zoe to push early and farm safely with Q, then look for freezes near your tower once you hit 6.
  • You want her overextended so your R engage gives her less escape distance to her tower.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste W aggressively for poke as this removes your escape tool and allows Zoe to land free E-Q combos.
  • Never R into Zoe when her E is available unless you can guarantee she can't land it during your R animation.
