- Post-6, look for R-E-Q-auto combos when his W is down, using your W shadow to reposition and avoid his follow-up damage.
Wave Control
- Focus on farming safely and looking for roam opportunities rather than forcing trades in lane.
- Let Ryze push into you when possible, as this gives you better all-in angles and reduces his escape options with the longer lane.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't commit to extended trades pre-6 as Ryze will out-damage you with his sustained combo potential.
- Avoid using W aggressively for poke if enemy jungler is nearby, as you'll have no escape tool and Ryze can easily set up ganks with his W root.
