LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this lane clearly through levels 1-3 by poking with Q repeatedly from outside his E range, as he cannot stack passive on you without closing distance and you can disengage freely.
- Post-6 you lose the 1v1 if he lands R on you, because your shadows do not enter Death Realm, gutting your damage output and escape options while he steals a percentage of your AD to fight you with.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to throw Q from max range to chip his health, then use W shadow placement to create angles that bait his E before committing to a full trade with shadow-assisted auto attacks.
- Never stand directly in front of him at close range without a shadow already placed behind him, because a clean E into passive proc into Q will chunk you heavily and he will W heal off the damage.
Wave Control
- Keep the wave slightly frozen or slow-pushed near your side to deny him easy E engages in open space, as a long lane gives him more room to walk at you and force passive stacks.
- If you shove the wave and he has R available, you are giving him a free R opportunity when you are isolated at his tower with no jungle nearby.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use R reactively when he presses R on you, because your R shadow also does not enter Death Realm and you will simply be standing in the dimension without your core damage tool, making his stat steal even more punishing.
- Save your R for escaping after Death Realm ends or for roaming to create leads elsewhere on the map rather than trying to outfight him in a dimension designed to favor him.
