Who Wins
- You lose levels 1-3 as Akshan outranges you and can poke freely while you lack gap closers.
- At level 6, you gain kill pressure with Death Mark, especially if you can land your full combo before he uses his E to escape.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use W-E-Q combo to poke, then immediately return to your shadow to avoid his retaliation.
- Once you hit level 6, look for W-R-E-Q combos when his E is on cooldown, as he cannot escape your ultimate without it.
Wave Control
- Focus on farming safely and avoiding poke until level 3, then use your W to create trading opportunities.
- After level 6, look to roam and impact other lanes since Akshan can match your roams but you have better assassination potential.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your W shadow aggressively early game, as it's your only tool to trade and escape Akshan's poke.
- Never all-in when his E is available, as he can easily dodge your Death Mark combo and turn the fight around with his superior kiting ability.
