Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 due to your range advantage and ability to poke with Q while Zed lacks gap closers.
- At level 6, Zed becomes significantly more dangerous with Death Mark, but you can still win if you use your E to dodge his combo and kite properly.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is to Q through minions to hit Zed, then auto-attack for the passive proc while staying at max range.
- When he tries to engage with W-E-Q, immediately use your E to swing away and continue kiting with autos and Q.
Wave Control
- Push the wave early to establish lane priority and roam with your E, as Zed will struggle to match your mobility pre-6.
- After level 6, maintain a slow push or freeze near your tower to avoid his all-in potential while still being able to trade safely.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use your E aggressively to engage trades, as it's your only escape tool against Zed's all-in potential.
- Don't stand in your minion wave when trading, as this allows Zed to hit both you and the wave with his Q, giving him better trades and wave control.
